Customisation
We never use laser etching on our products. Instead, we carve directly into the oak using a combination of traditional hand tools and CNC carving. Unlike laser marks, which sit on the surface and can fade, our carving cuts deep into the wood, creating detail you can feel. This makes your personalisation permanent and part of the wood itself.
No. Because we carve into the wood, your design won’t wear away. On items like food boards, a light oil every few weeks at first, then a couple of times a year, will keep it looking fresh for decades.

Yes. We always email you a free digital JPG/PDF proof before we start carving so you can check spelling, layout, and style. Once you approve, we begin.
We sell additional oil for treating our carving boards and cheese boards. Please see our Blog section for a Section on Caring for you boards.
Yes — if you send us a clear image of your handwriting, drawing, or logo, we can replicate it by carving directly into the wood. This creates a permanent, tactile design that becomes part of the oak. Everything is done in our Cambridgeshire, workshop.

Yes — Free shipping is available on all UK orders over £49.
Occasionally we offer free shipping on all goods as part of seasonal promotions.
Yes. We don’t have a formal collection point, but you’re welcome to collect from our Cambridgeshire workshop. Let us know in advance so we can have it ready.
Due to the personalisation of our products, most orders ship in six to eight working days. Larger or complex items may take longer. We do offer an express shipping service. Let us know at checkout if you need it sooner.
We mainly use DPD, which provides full tracking. Larger pieces, like bath caddies, may go via ParcelForce.
Once your order is shipped, we’ll email you a tracking link. Most UK orders are sent via DPD, and larger items may go via ParcelForce. You can track every stage of your delivery online.
We primarily ship within the UK and the Republic of Ireland, but we can arrange European & international deliveries on request.

Gifts
Not formal wrapping, but each piece is beautifully presented and ready for gifting. You can also add a personal note — just tell us in the order notes.
Yes. Please click the Express Delivery option at checkout. There is an extra charge, but we’ll prioritise your order in the workshop.
Yes — we can ship straight to the recipient and include a personal note from you. Just add your message in the order notes and enter their address at checkout.
Care & Longevity
To keep your oak product looking its best, wipe it clean with a damp cloth and re-oil occasionally with a food-safe oil. Avoid soaking in water and NEVER put it in the dishwasher! Please see here for further information.
With proper care, oak will last for decades.
