Product FAQs
What is the Gravity Bar?
The Gravity Bar is a wall‑mounted wooden display rail filled with tiny metal balls. Using gravity, it securely holds photos, prints, and papers as you slide them in — making it easy to swap and rearrange. It’s inspired by the ticket 'chip' rail used in professional kitchens.
How does the Gravity Bar hold paper without pins or magnets?
The angled oak profile grips the top edge of paper and photos using small chrome balls, gravity and friction—just slide items in/out. No pins, no marks.
Will it hold different paper sizes and weights?
Yes — the metal‑ball mechanism adjusts to grip lightweight prints, postcards, and heavier papers securely without damage.
What are the dimensions of the Oak Gravity Bar?
Please see the sizes on this page.
Can you engrave a family name or message on the front of the Gravity Bar?
Yes - personalised engraving on the front face is available and looks brilliant for hallways/kitchens!
Can I order custom lengths or colours?
Yes - choose standard lengths or request a custom size or colour.
How is the Gravity Bar mounted to the wall?
Hidden keyhole brackets at the back. Includes fixings for solid walls and appropriate anchors for plasterboard.
