It’s weighty, beautifully finished, and personalised just for you - we can hand-carve up to 35 characters, per side (a family name, a quote, a house name or a short message) so it feels like it’s always belonged on your table. 
Many customers tell us it quickly becomes an heirloom: the board that appears in photos, seasons with use, and quietly carries the memories of big Sundays and easy weeknights.

We make from premium FSC certified English oak, then offer quiet touches of contrast if you’d like them, such as our optional Signature Stripe: a full-depth walnut–maple inlay that runs through the board (not a surface veneer) for a subtle, distinctive detail.
The practical bits are all there without shouting about themselves: side hand slots for a sure grip, a juice groove with a corner well, and a tapered lip so the gravy goes into the jug, not across the counter.

We hand carve each inscription deeply into the oak for a permanent, lasting finish.
None of our products are personalised with a laser burn, which will fade over time.

So is it a chopping board or a carving board?

Our boards are built to be your everyday chopping friend (veg, bread, onions-with-tears) and your Sunday carving hero when the roast rolls out. Broadly, people say “chopping board” for daily prep and “carving board” for roasts (often with a juice groove/well) — but there’s no Board Police or official rulebook.
